PURCHASING and SHIPPING POLICY
Shipping costs and taxes are calculated at checkout. Domestic orders are shipped via USPS & UPS. International orders are shipped via USPS & DHL. Any international shipment fees such as import duties/taxes are the responsibility of the customer. We are unable to reroute packages. We cannot cancel orders after they have been shipped.
Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation. Orders are typically processed within one to two working days. We will notify you if a longer processing time is needed to handle the packing and shipping of your order. The art is sent registered and insured with the carrier. Once we have delivered your order to the postal service, you will receive a track-and-trace code to follow the package. Orders are shipped from New Jersey, USA. Once shipped, it usually takes two to five business days for an order to arrive at addresses in the USA. Outside these areas, it may take longer for you to receive your package, depending on location, customs formalities (if international shipping,) and delays due to Covid-19. Shipping times are estimated.
If you prefer to pay by check, PayPal, or Venmo, please contact Beth O'Grady Art directly at email@example.com.
Exchanges, Returns, Refunds
All sales are final. However, exchanges, returns, and refunds may be issued in special circumstances. Please make your request in writing within one week of receipt to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Packages
We ship the artwork registered and insured with the carrier, equal to the value of the item, and the customer will receive track and trace information from the carrier at the time of shipment. If your package gets lost in transit, we will assist you in tracking the item. Once the package is delivered, we will confirm date of delivery to the address provided. Though we will do our best to assist with delivery issues, the buyer assumes responsibility for all claims made with the shipping carrier for damage, loss, or theft.
CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICATION
Artworks that are not signed, including all multiples and editions, come with a Certificate of Authentication. This certification provides the artist's signature, along with pertinent and identifying information about the artwork
GOOD FAITH CONTRACT, RESALE, COPYRIGHT
Beth O'Grady retains all © copyright to the artwork.
Because the artist is operating on the premise of "making art available at prices that are affordable for more people," any resale of the art within one to five years at a percent 10% greater than original price, the profit of the sale will be split 50/50 between purchaser and the artist, so that the purchaser will pay one half of the profit made for the resale of the art directly to Beth O'Grady. This is a protection against bad-faith "flipping" of artwork, and is not intended to discourage purchase of the artwork, but instead to promote a mutually beneficial and respectiful, good-faith working relationship between the artist and the original buyer.
