The frame once held a watercolor painting of a sailboat on the ocean that my mother painted, but was stolen over the winter, decades ago from our old beach house in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. The knitting is my attempt to learn how to knit (with my mother's help) using scraps of yarn from my mother’s yarn box.
